An introspective and experimental short film filled with gentleness and poetry, using superimposed shots to convey the multiplicity of Marie’s sensibilities and existential questions of everyday life.
This short film was made in three days during a workshop supervised by photographer Patricia Morosan. It was the first time Marie Julliard (the narrator) had taken part in a workshop, hoping to develop the creative and artistic side of her personality that had remained buried and stifled for years. It all started with a simple question asked by Patricia Morosan: “How are you feeling today and why are you here (at this workshop)?” Marie Julliard responded to this question with the text below. After reading it, Patricia replied: “You’ve written a poem. Start from there. What do you need most today?” “Tenderness and gentleness,” replied Marie. “Then try to put all that into images…”
Soundtrack: Sukkube (Charlène Levasseur), Julia Castel and Marie Julliard
